Malaysia requires more people to voice out and stand in the front line. No more hiding behind their comfort zone and wait for changes to come. We ought to do it NOW! Peace to all mankind.

Announcement: Can we have our highways back?

As posted in YB Tony Pua's blog:

This will be our first public consultation and dialogue on Malaysia's highway toll concession agreements since they were "declassified" for public viewing about a month ago. For members of the public who wish to find out more details of our findings, as well as for the professionals with additional information, please join us for an evening of sharing and brainstorming.

The details are as follows:

"Can We Have Our Highways Back?"
Venue: Crystal Crown Hotel, Petaling Jaya
Date: 18 February (Wed)
Time: 7.30pm
The panel speakers include:
  • Sdr Lim Kit Siang, DAP Parliamentary Leader
  • Sdr Tony Pua, MP Petaling Jaya Utara
  • Sdr Teh Chi Chang, Economic Advisor to DAP Secretary-General
  • Other speakers to be confirmed
All are welcome. For background information, please feel free to browse the articles here.

~~~~~~~
I might go for this dialogue. Recently, I have been attending few forums concerning MALAYSIA and her people. The reason I went is to expose my little brain that has been living inside the four walls of my room. I don't want to be "Katak di bawah tempurung"! (Meaning without general knowledge.)
Economy, politic and education is very important in our life. If we allow ignorance in some of of it, we might miss out a lot.
So, Just do it. TC!
PAS MP Roslan Shaharum dies - Ref Malaysiakini
PAS member of Parliament for Bukit Gantang Roslan Shaharum passed away this morning.
No further details are available at press time. PAS leaders are now gathering details of his death before issuing a statement.
But Malaysiakini understands that the MP was out cycling this morning when he suddenly collapsed. The late Roslan resides in Batu Gajah.
It is learnt that the body is now at the Batu Gajah Hospital in Perak.
In last March's election, Roslan defeated Umno treasurer Azim Zabidi by a majority of 1,566 votes. Bukit Gantang is a Malay majority seat with 27% Chinese and 10% Indian votes.
The by-election which must be held within 60 days will be a referendum on the political situation in Perak. It comes at an awkward time for Umno, with the Umno general assembly due in late March.
Roslan mendapat 20,015 undi manakala Abdul Azim menerima 18,449 undi. Manakala calon bebas, M Morgan mendapat 872 undi.
Menurut Harakahdaily, Roslan meninggal dunia kira-kira jam 12 tengah hari ketika dalam perjalanan ke Hospital Batu Gajah.
Pegawai Khas Allahyarham, Shaharudin Ahmad Sani berkata allahyarham yang tinggal di Changkat Larang, Batu Gajah menghadapi masalah kesihatan sekembalinya dari luar negara.
"Dalam lawatan beliau ke Taiwan sebelum ini, beliau pernah dimasukkan ke hospital Taiwan atas masalah gula yang tinggi.
