Announcement: Can we have our highways back?

This will be our first public consultation and dialogue on Malaysia's highway toll concession agreements since they were "declassified" for public viewing about a month ago. For members of the public who wish to find out more details of our findings, as well as for the professionals with additional information, please join us for an evening of sharing and brainstorming.

I might go for this dialogue. Recently, I have been attending few forums concerning MALAYSIA and her people. The reason I went is to expose my little brain that has been living inside the four walls of my room. I don't want to be "Katak di bawah tempurung"! (Meaning without general knowledge.)

Economy, politic and education is very important in our life. If we allow ignorance in some of of it, we might miss out a lot.

So, Just do it. TC!

PAS, DAP, PKR: Zaid, Choose one only!

As the news of Zaid who was sacked by UMNO spread, it must have put some cheer on some faces. You know who you are. Mine? Yup :p

The next question:
Which party will Zaid Ibrahim join and be the next MP for a better Malaysia?

We need some one like Zaid who could change the judiciary system. This is to put things right again. His principle and the eagerness to change is what I find admirable in him.


Some have suggested that he should join DAP such as Tunku did. Why? That would put DAP in a much stronger position to tell Malaysian Malay that they have faith in DAP.


Do you notice one particular phrase that YB Teresa always uses when ever she mentioned Zaid Ibrahim?

YB Teresa always say: Beliau adalah Kawan Rapat saya, yang berjuang bersama saya, etc.... I cannot recall what she used when she was asking Zaid Ibrahim to speak during Dap Dinner in Penang.

I believe YB Teresa really wants Zaid to join DAP and to fight for a better Malaysia. That is my opinion.

What ever decision that Datuk Zaid makes, it is still a gain for PAKATAN!

It is time for Zaid to move forward. It is such a timely move for Umno to fire him. I have been waiting for this news. Gosh. Its 4.30 am!!! And I only notice this news at this HOUR!

Anyway, look at the photos taken during Penang Dap Victory Dinner. He is much more happier with Pakatan!

Perhaps he will be sad that UMNO rejected him. But fear not, Pakatan is open for him if he want to join em. :)

Penang - Tons of memories

I was in Penang to attend Paula case. When they decided to further delayed her case, I am pretty upset. What had happened to their motto of "mesra, cepat, dan betul"? (Warm, fast, and right.) In term of Mesra, I still can accept. They politely ask us to wait outside while the officer deal with her and the lawyer team. By the way, normal citizen cannot wait inside the police station compound? Must we be left waiting outside the gate? I pity one of the police officer. He have to take care of us who were standing outside and guard the gate.

Fast? Not that fast after all. Her case will only be known during the 3rd day of Chinese New Year 2009. So, what is your reason? No officer to handle her case? Just say it or let her off with some remark also cannot make it? Where is all your men?

"Right"? Hmmm... I have no comment on this. If I say "right", I will be blast. Vice versa :)

Of course, while I am in Penang, I must fill my stomach with delicious delicacy. On the first day of arrival, I met with Paula and family. They brought me to New Lane and Kimberly Lane. Nice food. What I had that night? Tong Shui (A hot soup), Char Kuey Teow, Hokkien mee (Penang style a.k.a. KL Prawn Mee), and Popiah. I remember popiah the most as it is the best that I have come across. I am thinking of another trip to Penang since so many people are willing to tour me around trying the BEST of Penang food!

Thank you Daniel who brought me around Penang and treat me with a bowl of beef noodle.

The next day is even much more memorable as I took a shot of fame with YB Jeff Ooi, the person who left a deep impression in me with his COOL song that he sang during 308 Election.

Where am I?

Ladies and gentlemen, I attended Penang DAP Victorious Dinner @ Han Chiang school. Courtesy of Paula who invited me, I am very honour to be there and met with so many good souls. First of all, I must Thank Paula for this opportunity. This is my FIRST time attending dinner organized by DAP.

Imagine having 10K of people and 1000 tables. Indeed huge.
The below picture is just a row of tents. Imagine having 7-8 rows similar to this.

How the tables was arranged? Have a look at the board.
Now only I notice that there are 9 rows.

Who was there?

Needless to say, Datuk Zaid Ibrahim is a man I salute. The mainstream paper is poking that he has misplaced his loyalty. I would say he is a man who know where to put his sense. He is there to promote a product. The product name? Kita Anak Bangsa Malaysia.

YAB Lim Guan Eng sharing with the people. He was the last one to share. Before he went up, he was going around shaking penangite hands and his fans eager to have a shot of fame with him.

At the end of my trip, I was quite reluctant to come back to reality that Selangor is where I am base. Still, I am proud of being a Selangorian. :) Thanks to all the Penangites who gave me a memorable days in Penang. By the way, I also bought some books in Penang.

Marathon Run for Hindraf Detainee- Go and support!

Those interested in participating in the run can contact Dr. Wong Aun Peng at 012-6644432. He will place you at points where more people will be needed. You may also let him know where your preferred area would be and how far you can run. There are some who are game to try going all the way i.e. from Klang to Kamunting.

The itinerary of the event is as below:
Saturday 15 Nov 08. (Selangor) 0800 - Flag off at DAP Pandamaran Service Centre (near the market). Route towards Bt Tinggi/Bayu Perdana traffic light (YB Charles Santiago Service Centre). Towards Jalan Kim Chuan and onwards to YB M. Manoharan's service centre (near Hin Hua school). Simpang Tujuh roundabout and towards Jalan Tengku Kelana (Indian Street).

0845 - Cross the Klang bridge and towards Gold Coast hotel, Pin Hua school. Pin Hua school to CIMB bank and Jalan Meru, pass High School to (YB Teng Chang Khim's service centre).

0900 - Jalan Kapar, batu 2 setengah. Straight to Kapar town.
1000 - Kapar town. Proceed to Jeram.
1200 - Kuala Selangor.
1330 - Tg Karang.
1430 - Sekinchan.
1630 - Sg Besar.
1800 - Sabak Bernam. Run stop for the night.

Sunday 16 Nov 08 (Perak) 0700 - Start run at Selangor/Perak border. Will be met by DAP Perak leaders and members.
0745 - Hutan Melintang.
0800 - Simpang Empat.
0900 - Teluk Intan.Run back to Kg Kok. Kg Kok junction to Sitiawan.
1200 - Sitiawan.
1400 - Pantai Remis.
1630 - Simpang.
1700 - Taiping.
1730 - Kamunting. NOTE : Timing is approximate.

Run for the FREEDOM of ISA detainee - ref Malaysiakini

I have no idea who came up with this program, but indeed it captured my attention.

350 KM? How are they going to run? 3 days marathon? For me, 20 KM already killed me when I ran for my high school marathon some years back.

Anyway, I think they have to do it in stages. From town to town would be feasible.

Good effort. Great motivation. Good Cause! For good health. Oh well, there is nothing bad about it. No cars allow ya!

I hope they will have permit to run. Else the Police or FRU will pick one by one on the road!

YB Josephine Vs Press Freedom

Before I went to the forum for the discussion on YBJ short story, I had a quick skim on the article which was translated in English. (You can read it at Teresa Kok's Blog) The ending part gave me an uneasy feeling. Read the post note on why I felt that way.

The forum discussed on our press freedom which violated our peaceful law of order. Speakers stated that every one have their freedom to speak, but be responsible for what they write. YB Lim KS added that what if some one use YBC4 or who ever that link to "You know who", how would it be? As for the article, Azmi , if I am not mistaken he said he would ask the Pakatan not to sue the Utusan if they only publish the front part without the assassination of YBJ. Yes, the front part is acceptable as it can be rated as fiction.

On the other hand, the topic on Ratu Anjing in which YB LIM KS mentioned, Haris Ibrahim added that he have 9 dogs at home. He knows the quality and cost for the dog food and point out that the food for detainee under ISA is teruk (I say compare in price lah). He also said that he is a muslim who loved dogs. Who says Muslim cannot have dog? "Eyes wide and everyone is laughing!"

They stated that even with freedom of writing and speech, one cannot place violence in your story that will influence the people. Imagine the younger generation who are reading it, what will be absorb in their mind? I wondered have they think of it?

YB LIM KS highlighted 10 resemblances in the article that linked to YB Teresa. The writer claimed to have not write with resembling to any one. Is it so?

In my opinion, Utusan had indirectly encourage violence in their media. When the people are trying to have peace, they are trying to inject the violence by putting in assassination in the short story that they had published. It's not the killing of the BAD GUYS or some corrupted people, but a mere representative of the people! This story is really not putting up any moral value at all. What is the writer trying to tell the readers? That those who are not fighting for the right cause will be punish? Then I as an irresponsible citizen or writer can also write who (fictionalizes) is to be send to "The land of DARKNESS" and publish it? Is this right?

One cannot link Politician and Violence(Assassination and etc). Never ever touch on that.

Anyway, The venue was small, the turnout was quite ok. The impact was KAO KAo on my mind. Met up with great people. Bought a book on YB LIM GUAN ENG entitled 'DARI PENJARA LIM GUAN ENG KE TAMPUK KUASA' that was written and compiled by Wan Hamidi, one of the speaker. (Got his signature :) Thanks sir!)

It was stated that YBJ is assassinated when she goes up to speak in the infamous short stories. It gave me the thought that YB Teresa life is going to end at the forum. My mind was in a mess thinking of what will happen at the forum. Thank GOD it went smoothly for YB Teresa. She also mentioned she need to take more precaution after the published of the YBJ story.
