Malaysia requires more people to voice out and stand in the front line. No more hiding behind their comfort zone and wait for changes to come. We ought to do it NOW! Peace to all mankind.

Collection of 2008

What have we learn or gain from the year 2008?

It is indeed superb for me to live in Malaysia. We are surrounded in a multi ethnic society where it enrich our lives. What else can we ask for? Why are we not moving forward and leave aside our differences and get to know each other more? Why do we have to live in our own comfort zone and left the world behind us? There are a lot of questions that Malaysian need to think.

What have happen in Malaysia for the year 2008?

8th March- We experienced the Political Tsunami where Opposition denied BN 2/3 majority.

YB Teresa Kok, reporter Ms. Tan Hoon Cheng, and RPK were detained under ISA.

Bukit Antarabangsa landslide.

Longest Trial in Malaysia - Irene Fernandez was found not guilty.

Bloody Sunday - November 9th, FRU clashed with Malaysian who attended Anti-ISA Vigil.

Some monkeys throwing their tantrum...

Etc.. any one care to add? I have short term memory.. LOL...

Yes Man!

Yes Man, a movie by Peyton Reed starring Jim Carrey. Again? Yes Man! What? YES MAN!!!!

Ooh... For your information, "YES MAN" is a movie title. :)

It is a story about a man who always say NO, decline things that come upon him, and find life not interesting. Until he attended a 'YES' SEMINAR, things start to change. Read here for the details of the movie.

I really enjoy the movie. It was a comedy film with philosophy in it. Not to be miss. Now, how I relate it with Malaysia's Politic?

In one of the scene, Jim Carrey's character also known as Carl, promise to say YES in everything. He say YES without considering the pro and con. The end result? Go watch it :)

As for Malaysia Government, I observe them approving projects without much thought. They say YES without proper planning and consideration. Until something happen or it does not follow the original plan, they will revert it and repeat the same step again.

Some time, saying Yes could lead us into destruction. Some Yes could improve our life. Some Yes could bring awareness to the public. You say YES because you mean it. Not because you have to follow order from the higher authority. If it clash with your principles in life, object it. Stand firm on what you believe in.

How many "YES" that Malaysia's Government had approved, in which it benefit us? Got statistic?

Syed Hamid received a Christmas present from stranger

I’m not upset, says Syed Hamid-Taken from The Star

TEHERAN: Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar’s house in Kota Tinggi was splashed with paint yesterday, but he brushed it off “as part of politics.” Syed Hamid, who was accompanying Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on an official visit here, said he was told of the incident in the morning.

“I received a call (on the incident) right after morning prayers. And I had friends calling from Pontian and Malacca telling me to take care and be careful,” he said. However, he said he was neither surprised nor upset by the incident.

“It was a balloon filled with paint. Had it been a bomb, then I would be worried,” he said. “Politics is like that. I have friends but I might also have people who do not like me.“From the time I joined the Government, when I joined the Defence Ministry, my life had always been at risk.”

The service centre of Tenggara MP Datuk Halimah Sadique, also in Kota Tinggi, was similarly hit. Halimah, who was also part of the delegation, said she would leave it to the police to investigate.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Nothing much to share. It's just a small matter. It depend on how you see it. I sympathize his house, not him. Why not him? Well, its his innocent house that got fresh paint, not him. May be he owe AH LONG huge sum of money or some one is totally BEH SYOK him. I do not know. Hope the police will be able to figure it out.
Police, Work harder! Find the person who had done this and let the public know. I believe some of the citizen would like to "punish" him or her.
Christmas is jUsT around the corner...
The speed of time is just too fast that I failed to realize its going to be Christmas in 4 days. Not that I do not know, perhaps I was too absorb in doing the things that I need to do. For me, the month of December is always the busiest and tiring. I even lost track of Monday to Sunday...
However, I am still kicking and roam around the town. Starting today evening until 24th of December, I will be running all over to finalize the Christmas Drama, bring Christmas cheer around Puchong & visit needy people around town.
Please pray for my health and strength to carry on with my duty :)
I think I won't be able to blog for this few days. Here I wish my friends:
Merry Christmas and Have a great weekend!
"I Want It MY Way"
"I Want It MY Way"
Yeah
You are the fire
The one i Hated
Believe ME when I say
I want it go away
we are two worlds apart
Can't reach to your head
When you say
I want it MY way
[Chorus:]
Tell me why
Ain't nothin' but a headache
Tell me why
Ain't nothin' but a PROBLEM
Tell me why
I never wanna hear you say
I want it MY way
Am I THE fire
You're the one I HATED
Yes I know it's too lame
But I want it MY way
[Chorus]
Now I can see that YOU ARE falling apart
After ruling for 51 years
No matter the People
I want you to know
That deep down inside of me...
You are THE FIRE
The one I HATED
You are
You are, you are, you are
Don't wanna hear you say
Ain't nothin' but a HEARTACHE
Ain't nothin' but a FOOL oooh..
(Don't wanna hear you BEG..)
I never wanna hear you say
I want it MY way
Tell me why
Ain't nothin' but a HEADache
Tell me why
Ain't nothin but a TROUBLE
Tell me why
I never wanna hear you say
I want it MY way
I want it MY way
Original song: BACKSTREET BOYS , I want it that way
A sincere charity and help
I used to volunteer for LEO Club in high school before it was closed down by the school authority. Don't ask what had happen. I have no idea! Being in charity is pretty good as you can help and also be aware of how fortunate you are in your current state. Perhaps, it would be appropriate to say: Count your blessings!
I am pretty much a soft hearted person. I help without asking much. Over the years, I encountered too many cases which put me in caution mode. I always read that certain charity organization is cheating, of how they transfered the monies to their own account and etc. This unacceptable attitude put me in a mix reaction of whether to continue trusting them or not.
RPK asked for help in his latest article. It was to help KEVIN's family. Kevin's Father and mother is in need of money as their illness is getting worst. They need more than RM100K to cope with hospital fees and operation. What I see from RPK's article really touch my heart. In within a few days, they manage to collect 75K!
It prove one thing, Malaysians is willing to give. Of course we cannot exclude their initial sense of security with the person whom they will give their hard earned money. The people who gave willingly TRUSTED RPK. They know RPK is a sincere person who never take it for granted and fear GOD. Some just take the money and keep it as their own money. Shame on them! God will have counseling session with them soon!
I remember that I wrote on how some China girls who want my sympathy. They want my sympathy to be exchange with money. Ya, they are without money, their parents are sick, they have no transport to go home, and etc etc... Too much to list it out. Read here for my previous article on how the China girl tried to cheat me.
Friends, let your common sense guide you. Help the needy, not those that cheat for $$.
Are Children supporting Jerit being exploited?
Can any one tell me in what way that the Children have been use?
Malaysiakini stated that "Polis bertindak menahan kumpulan berbasikal "Rakyat Pengayuh Perubahan" bagi menghenti dan mengelak kanak-kanak daripada dieksploitasi oleh pihak tertentu, kata Ketua Polis Selangor, Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar."
Now, Please SHOW me how the children have been use. They have permission letter from their parents. Is it not enough to prove that those children were riding on their bike with permission granted from their parents?
They also claim that children are in danger and they are SAVING THEM! In what way? OK. May be cycling around the highway is not safe. You have your point. But if they are doing it for creating health awareness! Cannot? This holiday does not seem enjoyable for some children. Sigh.
There have been so many abuse cases unsolved in the past years, why are the children not SAVE? NGOs have been highlighting all the problem, yet it goes "flying in the wind".
Enough of your reasons that are unacceptable by the people.
In the near future, a couple need to restrict their productivity because the authority does not allow any group activities that involves more than 4 persons!
Hmmm... another question pop up? Aren't previously the authority encourage people to have more children? I am in confusion. Are you?
Some thought
I am back to city and now in great spirit!!!
I heard many people miss me huh? :D
I was away helping in a leadership camp for youth at Tapah, Perak. It was wonderful with the scenery and cold atmosphere.
May be I will tell more about it later.
Now, I just heard some one said that he is sorry for saying some thing that is not so nice to hear at Parliament meeting? Oh well, perhaps may be you can consider going to Kindergarten ? I am sorry to say that I am this harsh but this is reality!! An adult with such an attitude should not be our leader! Even our youths are much better! He is actually teaching the younger generation the "not so good words"!
Hey The "BURST-MOUTH" fella, save your face, resign please.
I got a lot to catch up. Blogs, news, my precious sleep and many more. Can some one buy me some time? :D tc
Laughter the best medicine 2
School Joke
A first-grade teacher, Ms Tulip (Age 28) was having trouble with one of her students. The teacher asked,' Boy, what is your problem?'
Boy answered, 'I'm too smart for the first-grade. My sister is in the third-grade and I'm smarter than she is! I think I should be in the third-grade too!'
Ms Tulip had enough. She took Boy. to the principal's office. While Boy. waited in the outer office, the teacher explained to the principal what the situation was. The principal told Ms Tulip he would give the boy a test and if he failed to answer any of his questions he was to go back to the first-grade and behave. She agreed.
Boy. was brought in and the conditions were explained to him and he agreed to take the test.
Principal: 'What is 3 x 3?'
Boy: '9'.
Principal: 'What is 6 x 6?'
Boy: '36'.
And so it went with every question the principal thought a third-grade should know. The principal looks at Ms Tulip and tells her, 'I think Boy can go to the third-grade. '
Ms Tulip says to the principal, 'I have some of my own questions.
Can I ask him ?' The principal and Boy both agreed.
Ms Tulip asks, 'What does a cow have four of that I have only two of?
Boy., after a moment 'Legs.'
Ms Tulip: 'What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?'
Boy: 'Pockets.'
Ms Tulip: What starts with a C and ends with a T, is hairy, oval, delicious and contains thin whitish liquid?
Boy: Coconut
Ms Tulip: What goes in hard and pink then comes out soft And sticky? The principal's eyes open really wide and before he could stop the answer, Boy. was taking charge.
Boy: Bubblegum
Ms Tulip: What does a man do standing up, a woman does sitting down and a dog does on three legs? The principal's eyes open really wide and before he could stop the answer...
Boy: Shake hands
Ms Tulip: Now I will ask some 'Who am I' sort of questions, okay?
Boy: Yep.
Ms Tulip: You stick your poles inside me. You tie me down to get me up. I get wet before you do.
Boy: Tent
Ms Tulip: A finger goes in me. You fiddle with me when you're bored. The best man always has me first. The Principal was looking restless, a bit tense and took one large Vodka peg.
Boy: Wedding Ring
Ms Tulip: I come in many sizes. When I'm not well, I drip. When you blow me, you feel good.
Boy: Nose
Ms Tulip: I have a stiff shaft. My tip penetrates. I come with a quiver.
Boy: Arrow
Ms Tulip: What word starts with a 'F' and ends in 'K' that means lot of heat and excitement?
Boy: Fire truck
Ms Tulip: What word starts with a 'F' and ends in 'K' & if u don't get it u have to use your hand.
Boy: Fork
Ms Tulip: What is it that all men have one of it's longer on some men than on others, the pope doesn't use his and a man gives it to his wife after they're married?
Boy: SURNAME
Ms Tulip: What part of the man has no bone but has muscles, has lots of veins, like pumping, & is responsible for making love ?
Boy: HEART.
The principal breathed a sigh of relief and said to the teacher, 'Send this Boy to OXFORD UNIVERSITY. EVEN I GOT THE LAST TEN QUESTION WRONG MYSELF' :D
Taken From Email.
Have nice day!
My Boss & I
When I Take a long time to finish,
I am slow,
When my boss takes a long time,
he is thorough
When I don't do it,
I am lazy,
When my boss does not do it,
he is busy,
When I do something without being told,
I am trying to
be smart,
When my boss does the same,
he takes the initiative,
When I please my boss,
I am apple polishing,
When my boss pleases his boss,
he is cooperating,
When I make a mistake,
i am an idiot.
When my boss makes a mistake,
he's only human.
When I am out of the office,
I am wandering around.
When my boss is out of the office,
he's on business.
When I am on a day off sick,
I am always sick.
When my boss is a day off sick,
he must be very ill.
When I apply for leave,
I must be going for an
interview
When my boss applies for leave,
it's because he's
overworked
When I do good,
my boss never remembers,
When I do wrong,
he never forgets
X-ISA PJ Vigil Dec 7 ~ Shower of blessing ~
Shower of blessing ^
Half way through the Vigil, the skies pour down shower of blessing upon those who were there. Indeed refreshing. When ever I attend any events that shower me with rain, it would remind me of 308 victorious moment.
Peter, who brought messages from Malaysian staying/living in Macau, China. They support the cause to abolish ISA! YES! Thank You! ^
Former Parajurit, if I am not mistaken, with number 118XXXX... Shared his view. ^
Azmi Sharom ^
Can you find RPK in this picture? ^
The venue where the chaos happened. It is a peaceful place, yet it left scars among those who were there on Novermber 9th 2008.
Tonight, RPK came and warned bloggers. Yes, the detention centre in Kamunting is going to be demolish. Not for good. It will be restructure to become a high rise detention centre to accommodate bloggers. Azmi Sharom does not mind staying there, provided they have GYM for him to work out! :)
Can we just stop any hillside project?
Do we need to wait for 2 landslides before we can stop and leave the hillsides alone?
It has been every environmentalist headache to tell the Government to stop issuing permit to build high rise building on hillside. They have been trying their best to stop it, but to no avail.
I really hate to say this. Do we need to have something happen and have a few bodies to highlight this matter to the Government and developer? Can we just stop and cancel any projects that involve hillside? Not enough with highland tower death? Not enough with the current death? How many more incident that we want it to hit the headline?
Landslides in Malaysia this year
Dec 4 - 300 people were forced to evacuate two buildings when a landslide caused part of the retaining wall of a car park to collapse in Jalan Semantan, Kuala Lumpur.
Nov 30 - Two sisters were buried alive when a landslide hit their bungalow in Ulu Yam Perdana near Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor.
Oct 22 - Tonnes of earth came crashing down a hill onto the grounds of the Taman Terubong Jaya apartments in Butterworth where over 1,000 residents were staying.
Oct 19 - Four families evacuated from houses along the banks of Sungai Kayu Ara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, after landslide there.
Oct 17 - Two Indonesians were killed after they were buried alive by tonnes of sand in a landslide in Ganesan Quarry, Hulu Langat near Kajang, Selangor.
Oct 15 - A landslide after a downpour at Pinggir Bukit Segar, Cheras, Selangor caused a family to move out as they feared for their safety.
Sept 6 - Roads from the George Town to Teluk Bahang and Balik Pulau in Penang were cut off due to landslides and fallen trees.
Jan 17 - Two foreign workers were killed after they were buried in a landslide while working at a plantation in Cameron Highlands.
Cycling is dangerous around town! Come, go to police station for protection...
50 Cyclist who were part of Jerit Campaign was barred from crossing Penang bridge. They were taken care at the police station until 4.20pm.
Now, I want to ask the Police department, since when a group of friends who want to cycle for health reason get arrested, or may be like what you prefer to say, SAFE KEEP them from any danger? Ok. May be they have some leaflet. I do not think that by distributing leaflet is against the law. GOSH. I find it difficult to accept. How about those fella who paste the "AH LONG" leaflet around town? Why no action was taken against them? It is even worst than those who distribute it asking for PEACE. Anyway, I shall leave it aside. I would like to share a video with you. For your enjoyment.
My father used to tell me that he always cycle around for hours. Now? I do not think he can do it. We are not in the past. In the current future, this is what we will see; those who roam around in group will be taken away for question. The concern of our police officer is very much appreciated.
OUT OF TOPIC:
Damansara Primary School is finally going to re-open after 8 years of struggles. Not without pressure from the Chinese community. Vernacular Chinese schools need expansion programs to meet the needs of the growing student population. If you want to provide a better education, let the ratio be small. The current ratio is 1 teacher : 40-45 students.
After PP, here come KT. The people want to say: I Not Stupid~!
On 17 January 2009, Kuala Terengganu voters will have a battle against UMNO. After PAS lost by 628 votes, it is time for them to rearrange their strategy and win this seat.
There have been so many ridiculous remark and statement made by certain minister, MP and higher authority. Some seem to be inconsistent and challenge the citizens mind. What ever it is, I just want to send a message over.
We can think for our self. We can judge what you say on whether it is truth or fake. Please, before you say anything, be as wise as Sultan Selangor who use his words nicely. I doubt whether you can think "nicely".
PAS, DAP, PKR: Zaid, Choose one only!
As the news of Zaid who was sacked by UMNO spread, it must have put some cheer on some faces. You know who you are. Mine? Yup :p
The next question:
Which party will Zaid Ibrahim join and be the next MP for a better Malaysia?
We need some one like Zaid who could change the judiciary system. This is to put things right again. His principle and the eagerness to change is what I find admirable in him.
Some have suggested that he should join DAP such as Tunku did. Why? That would put DAP in a much stronger position to tell Malaysian Malay that they have faith in DAP.
Do you notice one particular phrase that YB Teresa always uses when ever she mentioned Zaid Ibrahim?
YB Teresa always say: Beliau adalah Kawan Rapat saya, yang berjuang bersama saya, etc.... I cannot recall what she used when she was asking Zaid Ibrahim to speak during Dap Dinner in Penang.
I believe YB Teresa really wants Zaid to join DAP and to fight for a better Malaysia. That is my opinion.
What ever decision that Datuk Zaid makes, it is still a gain for PAKATAN!
Change your perception on crime? YOU CHANGE 1st!
Do not give the people a good image that Malaysia is SAFE! I was almost rob behind my house, my house was broken into for 4 times, some relatives of mine was snatched and slashed in front of my house, etc..
Safe? Change our perception? Why not some fella change?
My parents once say that during their period which is 40-50 years back, they can sleep on the road or field and no one would whack them or rob their valuables. Now? Even a short distance is not SAFE. I cannot even feel safe to walk alone to buy some stuff near by as I fear for my safety!
When ever I want to go for a drink, I cannot go back too late. All due to the DARN crime that has been escalating and my parents would be waiting for me to reach home safely.
So, how do you counter this? Do you have a better solution? Hey, Sultan Selangor is not that happy with it. Hope the Head of Police Department get my message here!!!
Innocent people all Kena Kao Kao! Wake up k!
New 'monkey' on the blog :)
As we know, many have retired from blogging. Some are frustrated, some do not see hope in Malaysia, some are just too tired that they call it a day. However, in this difficulty period, I am proud to say that some are eager to change and hope to claim Malaysia back to her glorious day!
Let us Welcome...
Protecting Penang Heritage
Penang is a great place for tourism. With delicious food, beautiful place to visit, what else can you ask for?
My trip to Penang gave me wonderful and lovely memories. Yes, I am in love with Penang. Penang's George Town has been awarded Unesco status for its heritage building and treasure that you cannot find elsewhere.
How can we preserve it?
There are some suggestions that monorail or LRT being build in Penang. In the mean time, the construction of second bridge connecting Penang is starting soon.
On having Lrt/monorail, I do not know whether is it feasible or not. Look at the building structure in Penang. Most of it are over 50 years or more. We do not know how strong is the building and to start any construction near by the heritage building, it may affect the building during the construction period. The vibration of the machine pumping along the roadside and stumping here and there.
Can you guarantee that it will not affect the heritage building? It is better that Penang state government hire professional building surveyor or any one who is experience to check on the heritage building, on whether it can withstand the vibration cause by any construction if they plan to build it.
Penang still has wooden door that are now hardly seen around KL.
Perak might have. May be along the old road going to Ipoh.
Some one should buy over this house and protect it.
If the owner is willing, put it as one of the MUST PRESERVE list!
Antique lover here!!
As I know, Penang has unearthed tram rail track around the city. I do not know the reason behind the shutting down of the service, but it is indeed a big loss for Penang.
With the Unesco status, it would be better to fit George Town with classic tram.
That would match it :)
I shall leave it to the authority to finalize with it. Love Penang!
Zaid Ibrahim was FIRED! - ref Malaysiakini
It is time for Zaid to move forward. It is such a timely move for Umno to fire him. I have been waiting for this news. Gosh. Its 4.30 am!!! And I only notice this news at this HOUR!
Read Malaysiakini.
One question linger in my mind:
Being fire or resign, which one create more impact in terms of creating awareness?
Anyway, look at the photos taken during Penang Dap Victory Dinner. He is much more happier with Pakatan!
Perhaps he will be sad that UMNO rejected him. But fear not, Pakatan is open for him if he want to join em. :)
YB Teresa, have you prepare a basket full of fruits to encourage your close friend, Zaid?
Penang - Tons of memories
I was in Penang to attend Paula case. When they decided to further delayed her case, I am pretty upset. What had happened to their motto of "mesra, cepat, dan betul"? (Warm, fast, and right.) In term of Mesra, I still can accept. They politely ask us to wait outside while the officer deal with her and the lawyer team. By the way, normal citizen cannot wait inside the police station compound? Must we be left waiting outside the gate? I pity one of the police officer. He have to take care of us who were standing outside and guard the gate.
Some of us waiting outside the police station.
Fast? Not that fast after all. Her case will only be known during the 3rd day of Chinese New Year 2009. So, what is your reason? No officer to handle her case? Just say it or let her off with some remark also cannot make it? Where is all your men?
"Right"? Hmmm... I have no comment on this. If I say "right", I will be blast. Vice versa :)
Of course, while I am in Penang, I must fill my stomach with delicious delicacy. On the first day of arrival, I met with Paula and family. They brought me to New Lane and Kimberly Lane. Nice food. What I had that night? Tong Shui (A hot soup), Char Kuey Teow, Hokkien mee (Penang style a.k.a. KL Prawn Mee), and Popiah. I remember popiah the most as it is the best that I have come across. I am thinking of another trip to Penang since so many people are willing to tour me around trying the BEST of Penang food!
Thank you Daniel who brought me around Penang and treat me with a bowl of beef noodle.
The next day is even much more memorable as I took a shot of fame with YB Jeff Ooi, the person who left a deep impression in me with his COOL song that he sang during 308 Election.
Where am I?
Ladies and gentlemen, I attended Penang DAP Victorious Dinner @ Han Chiang school. Courtesy of Paula who invited me, I am very honour to be there and met with so many good souls. First of all, I must Thank Paula for this opportunity. This is my FIRST time attending dinner organized by DAP.
Imagine having 10K of people and 1000 tables. Indeed huge.
The below picture is just a row of tents. Imagine having 7-8 rows similar to this.
How the tables was arranged? Have a look at the board.
Now only I notice that there are 9 rows.
Who was there?
Needless to say, Datuk Zaid Ibrahim is a man I salute. The mainstream paper is poking that he has misplaced his loyalty. I would say he is a man who know where to put his sense. He is there to promote a product. The product name? Kita Anak Bangsa Malaysia.
YAB Lim Guan Eng sharing with the people. He was the last one to share. Before he went up, he was going around shaking penangite hands and his fans eager to have a shot of fame with him.
At the end of my trip, I was quite reluctant to come back to reality that Selangor is where I am base. Still, I am proud of being a Selangorian. :) Thanks to all the Penangites who gave me a memorable days in Penang. By the way, I also bought some books in Penang.
Will tell more in the next post :)
The first time I felt secure by YDPA assurance
It has been a long period of waiting for assurance from the higher authority. Thanks Pat Lu for sharing with me this piece of valuable news.
I am not heartless, nor am I a person who ignore what YDPA say. Perhaps they have not spoken much to assure the people? I am not too sure.
Read here.
The point I'm trying to make is that Sultan Of Selangor touched my heart with his straight forwardness. If you are not doing any good job to rule the country, I will have to meet you personally and have counseling session. Indeed a change for the rulers of Malaysia. At least for now, I know that rulers of Malaysia are very concern of Malaysian.
He said: "Malaysia belongs to all races, not just the Malays. The country is what it is today because of the contributions of all races and that is something we must acknowledge". - thenutgrapph
Saya Junjungmu!
Before you close, build a better edu sys - Sebelum tutup sekolah vernakular, bina system pendidikan yg Baik dulu - ref Malaysiakini
Mukhriz saran tutup sekolah vernakular
Click above link to read in details of what he said. Not because I am a Chinese, I must therefore support the vernacular school. What the heck with your Ketuanan Melayu? Hello.. what era is this?
Have you visit Chinese Primary / Secondary school to see the efficiency of these school? Of course there are flaws, but at least the standard is much higher than national school. What that you had provided will NEVER match vernacular competitiveness.
It is because of its competitiveness that earned them a good reputation. So, tell me, in term of Education, have the national school reach the highest standard? If it does, then may be you can talk about closing down vernacular school and put them together with National school.
In this century, the vernacular school must also look ahead. Adopting English to teach in Maths and Science will bring the future generation further. Do not think that by using Mandarin Language we will be able to survive. Yes, we can. But we might miss out opportunity or advantages that could bring us up a level. Change is a must. For our future education!
Some are still criticizing on the usage of English to teach Maths and Science. They feared for the language might be gone if one was not practicing it. Hey, What is your native language? You already acquire your own Native Language, why not give opportunity for your self to learn other language? This will bring out the best in you. Enough Said. Period.
X-ISA VIGIL 30 Nov - Gathering getting more interesting!
Today, we are fortunate to have Kak Laila to share with us. Her son is with her and it is really inspiring to hear from her. I reached there around 8.20pm, in which I missed out some part of her sharing. Hope some good Samaritan would upload her sharing and let me be inspire again.
Who is she? Have you heard of the recent news where the PRO ISA protester have a flying kick over a young lady's car? Well, she was the one that was attacked by the Pro Isa. Sorry that I have not got her name. Was too busy cheering that I never pay attention. Either Haris or Richard was telling the crowd that she was here today. The people roar and cheers for her!!! There were thunderous applause when she went upfront.
She shared of how she was given punch and kick. Shame On You! She shouted to the Pro Isa people. Yes, they must be ashame that they have so many people against one great soul! Hat's off to you SIS! Malaysian must be more brave like her!
Few people come forward and shared with us. MIB was not around, but 'precious time' is there to shoo us away. Felt so sad the time is not with us! Can we go longer until 12am? LoL!
Some young souls singing Negaraku. Sunday Vigil saw a lot of young men and women come forward. The future generation hope. Estimated crowd around 200. More than previous week. I also met my former college friend whom I have not met for years! Glad he is part of us.
Finally, after everything was over, I finally met with Sanjiun and Sam. As we were chatting, Kak Laila came over. She shared with us of how she was being in her own world. After her husband was detained, she set up a blog and connect to the cyber world. People who supported her with comments in her blog came from different ethnic and background. Thus, this open her up and see the beautiful of Malaysian.
Kak Laila, If you are reading this post, I want to apologize for my ignorant attitude few years back when your husband was detained under ISA. I have not make any effort to speak against it. It was before the 308 Election that I started to be more aware of ISA and getting my self involve in politic. Being a part of this change is really important :) I will tell more about Kak Laila's changes / transition later this week.
Back to 2 young bloggers, S & S. Well, we are just around the same age, we have a lot to do for this nation. Perhaps I spoke too much this evening. Too excited when I talked about politic. :) It's really nice knowing you. Do not give up! Let us fight this battle together!
