House Owners - Check your QUIT RENT plz!

Some may not know that we are having TEMPORARY Quit Rent. Please check if your quit rent is not form 11A. For permanent quit rent cert, it is blue in colour for Selangor. I am not sure whether is it the same for other states. You need to pay RM 20 for it.

Recently, my father went to check with Land Office after we didn't receive the quit rent bill for months. We were told that they have sent to the old address that we filled in during the period when we purchased the house. (New housing areas don't have address then, you need a house address for them to send letters.) After 17 years of sending to the current address, suddenly without any notice they sent to the temporary address.

My question is: What is the common sense in doing so? We have no problem for the past 17 years! Now why do you need to revert it to the old address? It troubles my old folks and I cannot imagine how my neighbours going to wait for the quit rent to come. Perhaps they can say that the letter lost somewhere....

To those out there, kindly take note of it. You will be fine no matter how.... we were fined RM2!

The fines is not a major problem, but the changing of address is the main problem! BUCK UP!

513 to 1Malaysia: Nation Building

We had several good speakers last night at a forum on Najib's 1Malaysia and May 13. Many agreed that 513 is a "past" and we no longer need to mention it regularly. However, a new date has arise, that is May 7, Malaysia's darkest day in Perak.

Interesting point of note:

• Unity can only stand when there is justice
• We ought to empower the young generation to change
• We ought to change the way we educate our children
• Logic does not always work in politics
• Race based party will not be accepted by people
• For forty years we lived in fears and got cheated by UMNO, its time we buried May 13!
• Dollah aka Tan Sri Abdullah Ahmad mentioned something I don't know. We could have prevented May 13 if Lim Chong Yew inform Tunku earlier of the situation, say like half an hour. Let the history of May 13 be buried. We lived in peace at the moment.
  

I would say that Nizar has been keeping his anger within himself. It is good for him to release it in this forum. After all, forum is also another ways to allow people to vent their frustration of what that had happened in Perak.

Tricia Yeoh reminded us to remember Perak! Ingat, ingat, ingat Perak! Remember that we will go for FREEDOM! Get more people to register as voter. Execute your right! Vote for justice!

At last, some one are willing to expose the bugger "good reputation" and let the people see clearly. This "BROOM MB" wasted rakyat monies and go for vacation. Banana! I have not even been there before.

Another REASON to KICK him out in the next election. Or better still, his constituency residents can move a motion to MOVE HIM OUT! That would be the better choice as compare to the next GE. Cannot wait any longer. See his face d wanna vomit!

Sultan bimbang orang Melayu Selangor berpecah : Bukan semua Rakyat ke?

Sultan Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah menyuarakan kebimbangan terhadap orang Melayu di Selangor yang telah berpecah belah disebabkan oleh berlainan fahaman politik.

Titah baginda, walaupun bangsa Melayu tidak mungkin akan hilang dari dunia, tetapi tidak ada gunanya sekiranya orang Melayu yang tinggal itu tidak bertamadun, tidak dihormati dan boleh dipermainkan serta diperalatkan.

"Beta sudah berkali-kali menyeru kepada rakyat Melayu di negeri Selangor ini supaya menghormati antara satu sama lain, memahami akan kedudukan satu dengan yang lain dan yang paling penting, mempercayai antara satu dengan yang lain.

FAS field to be replace by Office lot?

Taken some time back when there was a protest over the FAS decision to take away the field and put more bricks.

Pretty busy or ignorant, I just noticed this board when I was walking to a bus station near my housing area. So, it is confirm that the piece of land owned by F.A.S. will be demolish and we will see more building around our residential area.

Gary highlighted it on this blog regarding FAS decision to take away the field.

I am wondering whether the residential association highlight this matter to the MBPJ to stop work on this land. It is just too many building surrounding our residential area. Stop it before our traffic get even worst.

Change your perception on crime? YOU CHANGE 1st!

Do not give the people a good image that Malaysia is SAFE! I was almost rob behind my house, my house was broken into for 4 times, some relatives of mine was snatched and slashed in front of my house, etc..

Safe? Change our perception? Why not some fella change?

My parents once say that during their period which is 40-50 years back, they can sleep on the road or field and no one would whack them or rob their valuables. Now? Even a short distance is not SAFE. I cannot even feel safe to walk alone to buy some stuff near by as I fear for my safety!

When ever I want to go for a drink, I cannot go back too late. All due to the DARN crime that has been escalating and my parents would be waiting for me to reach home safely.

So, how do you counter this? Do you have a better solution? Hey, Sultan Selangor is not that happy with it. Hope the Head of Police Department get my message here!!!

The first time I felt secure by YDPA assurance

It has been a long period of waiting for assurance from the higher authority. Thanks Pat Lu for sharing with me this piece of valuable news.

I am not heartless, nor am I a person who ignore what YDPA say. Perhaps they have not spoken much to assure the people? I am not too sure.

The point I'm trying to make is that Sultan Of Selangor touched my heart with his straight forwardness. If you are not doing any good job to rule the country, I will have to meet you personally and have counseling session. Indeed a change for the rulers of Malaysia. At least for now, I know that rulers of Malaysia are very concern of Malaysian.

An institution unknown to Selangor folks like me

Am I ignorant?

How come I don't know that there is an institution for the youth? No, it is not vocational school.

It's a college that provide training for those who are not able to "face the book". It is a skills training college that prepare them for the future. Indeed I am ashamed that as It was being dumped aside without much help from the ruling Government. From my observation, it lacked of awareness from the education sector and need more exposure; the future generations need to know that there are places like this institution to help them for their future.

Isn't it sad when you know the College can be on par with College like Inti and Taylor's, yet they are now not to be known by MANY! Please help to change Selangor to a better state~! I am glad we are now in GOOD HANDS!

What does PKNS stand for?

Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS).

I read that certain people do not support the Chinese lady to lead PKNS, and they said it violated the Bumi rights to held the position. PKNS was founded to help the bumiputra only? So all the while the others living in Selangor was not important ?

Perbadanan Kemajuan mean what to you? Perbadanan means a corporation that is free from government control. (As written in dictionary.) But we have to remember that PKNS was set up to help improve Selangor citizen life. When I read the word Kemajuan, I don't think our PKNS are doing any Kemajuan at this point.

Look! If one was to improve, they have to really accept the MB choice of putting an experienced lady who knows really well of the in and out of Selangor. After all, she had been working with PKNS for 35 years! Aren't that a good choice? Can you give her a chance to show you how she can improve Selangor state? Read here on Teresa Kok's point of view.

I believed that she will be able to improve Selangor to a much better state and help all citizen who are in need. For once, can the staff of PKNS respect the MB choice which is also the peoples choice? The people voted the MB in and the Selangorian had voiced their choice of having a new government to rule over Selangor.

Be open minded. Let Selangor state prosper.
